竹市11億建設17公里海岸線　議員批像廢墟

【侯力元／新竹報導】新竹市議會今市政總質詢，議員李妍慧針對新竹市「沿海17公里景觀帶」路樹枯死、路燈壞光、圍欄斷裂、路面破洞、路基掏空、標示脫落、設備鏽蝕、環境髒亂，全線景觀破敗至極提出質詢。李妍慧形容，「簡直就像停止營業一樣的荒涼、衰敗」，完全不見昔日榮景。
 
李妍慧表示，此工程是前任市長留下的重要政績，當時花了11億3493萬巨資打造，目前尚有10億多的債務。市府為了繜節開支，只編列行政管理費，李妍慧說「簡直連1塊錢的維護費都捨不得花」。而此項建設的債務，至今年底尚有近9億待償還。
 
市長許明財回應，已要求城市行銷處在1個月內會勘修復，大型工程部分已爭取到中央營建署及觀光局1000多萬工程款，會盡速發包修復。市長表示，自己也會親自前往會勘驗收，以確保工程修繕品質。
