美參院批准卡洛琳甘迺迪出使日本

美國參議院已批准前美國總統「約翰甘迺迪」的女兒「卡洛琳甘迺迪」擔任駐日大使。

美國參議院在(美東時間)周三晚上，表決通過債限及預算協議後，對駐日大使的人事案進行表決，結果「卡洛琳甘迺迪」獲得一致同意，出使日本。她也將成為美國駐日本第一位女性大使。

日本是美國第四大貿易夥伴，也是美國第七艦隊的駐防地，目前美國在日本有5萬駐軍；「卡洛琳甘迺迪」之前在聽證會上表明，願致力敦促美日友好邦誼。

「卡洛琳」的父親、「約翰甘迺迪」在 1963年11月22號遭人暗殺身亡，當時距離「卡洛琳」6歲生日只有五天。
