揚智晶片獲Conax選用 合推出無卡式機上盒晶片方案

機上盒晶片揚智(3041)今(16)日宣佈，推出全球首先支援最先進的Conax Cardless無卡條件式接收技術機上盒晶片設計方案，Conax與揚智共同合作推出參考設計方案，嵌入Conax Cardless安全核心技術，加速無卡式機上盒開發，縮短機上盒產品的上市時間。

揚智指出，Conax Cardless是一款條件接收(conditional access，CA)產品，用戶端在機上盒晶片中的專屬安全區域內運行，取代了當前的實體智慧卡，提供值得信賴的硬體環境；其中Conax Cardless所提供的高度安全性，就是來自於最先進的機上盒晶片技術，提供充分地硬體安全機制，讓CA用戶端可安全無虞使用。

Conax產品暨交易夥辦單位執行副總湯姆加爾(Tom Jahr)指出，Conax的安全技術一直建立在軟體基礎上，過去用智慧卡做為推送與保護軟體的方法，是目前最安全的辦法，Conax長期致力於提供安全保護，晶片技術也日新月異，因此不斷提昇機上盒晶片安全層級技術。

揚智營運暨技術長黃學偉表示，對數位娛樂系統而言，安全問題是相當關鍵的需求，揚智持續致力在機上盒單晶片架構與設計的創新以加強安全性能，晶片獲選為全球第一個嵌入Conax Cardless CA 技術之機上盒晶片。

揚智無卡式機上盒參考設計方案將在IBC 2013 Conax攤位展出。
