緬甸再爆宗教衝突 佛教徒報復回教徒

緬甸西北部周末夜再度發生宗教衝突，據說，因為有傳言聲稱，一名年輕女子遭到穆斯林男性性侵，掀起眾怒，因此一群佛教徒縱火攻擊，燒毀數十間回教徒的住家及商店。

緬甸一位激進的佛教僧侶在臉書上表示，有數百人參與了在西北部「坎巴魯」郊區的暴動。

還有佛教徒包圍當地警察局，要求交出傳言中的穆斯林強暴犯，當警察拒絕後，群眾開始縱火攻擊。警方說，大約35棟民宅及12家商店被燒毀，其中大多是屬於回教徒。

緬甸從2011年開始，境內的宗教衝突日益嚴重，到目前為止，已有250多人死亡，其中多數是穆斯林，另外，還有14萬人被迫逃離家園。
