軟銀新洋投Edison Barrios第1次登板先發，有效壓制火腿隊攻勢，軟銀7比2勝火腿，火腿隊陽岱鋼、軟銀隊李杜軒都敲出1支安打。
Edison Barrios來自委內瑞拉，25歲，先前曾在關西獨立聯盟打球，今天雖是他本季第1次在一軍先發，不過軟銀投手教練郭泰源對他的期待很高，而Edison Barrios也沒讓郭泰源失望，先發5局被擊出7支安打，第2局被中田翔轟出陽春砲（本季第27轟）失1分，三振5次、保送1次，贏得勝投。
陽岱鋼此戰4打數1安打，本季打擊率2成90，李杜軒先發守二壘，打第八棒，第4局敲出安打後退場，2打數1安打，本季打擊率3成19。
此戰軟銀柳田悠岐、長谷川勇也各轟出1支全壘打，另一戰中日10比4勝讀賣巨人。
