中華職棒／休息3週之後　潘威倫登板先發

最近氣勢愈來愈旺的統一獅，12日在台南迎戰義大犀牛，「嘟嘟」潘威倫先發，這是嘟嘟近3週來的第1次先發，至於義大犀牛則由馬克先發。

嘟嘟自7月20日對犀牛之戰，先發6局被擊出6支安打失3分，拿到在中職最多的109勝之後，已有1個半月的時間沒再先發，助理投手教練高建三表示「原本11日對兄弟象之戰，要讓嘟嘟先發，但他因腰部不適，因而臨時改費古洛先發」，嘟嘟表示「前兩週跑步腰部受傷，確實是有點不舒服，不過現在已沒有太大問題」。

嘟嘟今年傷癒復出，表現一直都不是很理想，目前戰績3勝7敗、防禦率6.16，對犀牛戰績2勝2敗、防禦率5.01，至於犀牛隊馬克，本季戰績3勝0敗、防禦率1.29，13日將是首度對獅隊先發

另外，「大餅」林岳平職棒生涯124救援成功，已經平了洋投凱撒保持的生涯最多紀錄，`13日有機會再創新高。

犀牛下半季戰績11勝9敗，暫居第一，獅隊10勝12敗，是最後一名，但2隊的勝差只有2場，由此可看出下半季戰況相當激烈，本周任何一場賽事的勝負，都會影響4隊的排名。

而獅隊代理總教練「阿鑼」陳連宏上任以來，獅隊6戰5勝，全力向下半季冠軍衝剌，鑼總12日說「球隊氣氛好，運氣也不錯」，現在就看鑼總能否繼續帶領獅隊締造奇蹟。
