頤和園琉璃佛像遭斬首 園方：乃自然脫落

大陸北京頤和園外墻的部分琉璃佛像，頭部遭到破壞，媒體形容「佛頭被斬首」引起關注。

不過據頤和園管理處表示，被指斬首的佛頭，位於頤和園的智慧海，八國聯軍入侵時，佛頭曾遭到損壞。近年來修補的新添佛頭，與原琉璃佛龕冷熱膨脹不均，導致有脫落現象。他們說，近期，沒有發現佛頭有人為破壞的事情。

智慧海墻外壁佛龕是在清朝乾隆年間建造，由於燒製技術所限，佛頭就是單獨的一個組件。後來佛頭在添配時，還是採用的傳統黏合劑，避免可能對文物產生傷害。
