行政院今(29)日下午2:30召開記者會，說明內閣人事調整事宜。江宜樺表示，希望新任閣員，都能夠繼往開來，以人民福祉為念。
江揆宣布，國防部長由現任副部長楊念祖接任；現任社福政委陳士魁轉任僑委會委員長，遺缺由台大社工系教授馮燕接任；現任海軍司令董翔龍轉任退輔會主委；財政部次長曾銘宗掌金管會；原民會主委由副主委林江義接任；工程會主委由副主委顏久榮代理。
江揆說，要感謝所有離職的政務官，以及在任時對國家所做出的貢獻。此外，江揆也要求，新上任的政務首長能讓政務無縫接軌，儘快地掌握政務，並且決定其所擔任的部會副手人選。
