臀傷困擾 莎拉波娃退出史丹佛經典賽

世界排名第二的網球女將莎拉波娃(Maria Sharapova)，15日因為不斷困擾她的臀部傷勢，決定退出下週的WTA巡迴賽--史丹佛經典賽(Standford Classic)。

莎拉波娃是在這個月稍早的溫布頓公開賽時左臀受傷。史丹佛經典賽主席霍爾(Kim Hall)說，他們能夠了解，一個球員的健康永遠是第一考量。這場比賽將在7月22日到28日舉行。

霍爾表示，排名15的比利時選手佛莉普金絲(Kirsten Flipkens)也已經退出。不過官方並未說明她退賽的理由。

隨著莎拉波娃的退出，目前退出這場比賽的大牌球員還包括剛在溫布頓封后的法國女將巴托莉(Marion Bartoli)、以及世界排名第四的拉德旺絲卡(Agnieszka Radwanska)。
