上半季冠軍義大犀牛，下半季至14日賽前，以1勝4敗在四隊排名墊底，犀牛軍針對投手補強，新洋投強克（Juan Morillo）將於7月15日抵台。
強克（Juan Morillo）生涯初期擔任先發投手，後期轉任後援投手，擁有美國大聯盟經驗，曾於2006年至2009年效力於科羅拉多洛磯隊及明尼蘇達雙城隊，另外2010年也曾於日本職棒樂天金鷹隊出賽，出賽7場防禦率為2.7，目前將暫時定位為後援角色。
這位多明尼加籍的洋投，現年30歲，身高185公分，體重86公斤， 2012年於費城人隊2A及3A出賽共計40場，戰績1勝2敗，防禦率5.34，2013年於墨西哥聯盟3A出賽9場皆為後援，戰績1勝2敗，防禦率7.88，每局被上壘率 1.75。
