【蔡智銘／台中報導】立委林佳龍結合黃秀珠、劉錦和、李天生、何明杰等4位台中市議員，今天在台中市大里區成立大屯區聯合服務處，林佳龍宣佈爭取下屆民進黨大台中市長提名，前副總統呂秀蓮，前行政院長游錫堃、名嘴徐永明等人都到場站台，推薦林佳龍是下屆大台中市長的最佳人選，游錫堃還痛批總統馬英九民調只有「13趴」，早就該自行宣佈下台。

原本上屆就要參選、最後宣佈退選讓蘇嘉全參選的林佳龍強調，對於黨內其他的競爭者，他會盡力去溝通、協調，如果協調不成，就採用民調方式決定人選，不管民調結果如何，大家都應該全力支持勝出者。
