中華職棒／瞄準總冠軍！　義大新洋投Matt Torra3日報到

義大犀牛領隊謝秉育，1日才在封王感恩會上透漏，球隊將繼續補強洋投戰力，3日就有新洋投要來報到，找來小聯盟經驗豐富的選手Matt Torra。

犀牛軍下半季預計補進2名先發、1後援，最先確定來台的Torra，現年29歲，身高191公分、102公斤，2005年被響尾蛇在第一輪31順位選進，效力6個球季，2011年季中轉戰光芒，今年再換到國民。

Torra最高層級到3A，職業生涯以先發為主，並非義大想要的「明星」球員，去年他在3A時，留下12勝7敗、防禦率4.10，今年則是先發5場，以0勝3敗，防禦率5.53坐收。

犀牛會相中這位球員，主要是Torra小聯盟經驗豐富，健康且可投大量局數，生涯平均每9局才投出1.8次保送，來台之後，也將擔任先發角色，至於，合約6月到期的柴克則多簽1個月合約。
