行政院大陸委員會於昨（四）日就「六四事件」二十四周年發表聲明表示，對「六四事件」的重新省思，是中國大陸深化改革的重要指標，中國大陸應以積極、坦誠的態度，正視「六四事件」的歷史事實與對大陸改革發展的正面意義。

陸委會表示，五年多來，兩岸雙方所致力交流互動與對話協商，彰顯兩岸人民福祉及人權保障是兩岸關係互動及發展中的重要環節。陸委會呼籲，雙方應該在這樣的基礎上相互合作與提升，也應該在交流、對話的過程中，就各項改革面向相互分享多元價值，促進兩岸公民社會正向發展，以進一步深化雙方互信、互利的關係，為兩岸人民的幸福創造更有利的環境。
