交通部運研所24日公佈全台縣市橋梁檢測和維護情形評鑑結果，台東的績效最差，維修率掛零，全市被點名要維修的橋梁，實際上都沒有去修理，民眾的通行安全令人擔憂。

此次評鑑結果指出，於「維修作業」和「橋樑檢測」部分，宜蘭縣、台南市、南投縣、苗栗縣、新北市、台北市的績效較優，其中前三名為苗栗縣、宜蘭縣和台南市。

此次評鑑結果指出，於「維修作業」和「橋樑檢測」部分，績效較差的是嘉義縣，所管轄橋樑共計831座，然而在98年至100年之間「應維修構件數」卻掛零；維修率低於百分之十的包括：基隆市、台東縣、金門縣、台中市、彰化縣與新竹縣。

運研所組長蘇振維表示，台東縣的表現是所有全台縣市表現最差的，去年竟然沒有維修，也沒有做橋梁檢測。
