【大紀元2013年05月27日訊】電視劇《老米家的婚事》自5月22日起登陸江西、遼寧、湖北等3家衛視，陝西衛視於27日開始播出。劇中宋丹丹飾演了一個善良、熱心，卻有點貧嘴的幽默老媽米嬸，對於她的表演，觀眾讚道：「又看到了那個熟悉的宋丹丹。」

電視劇《老米家的婚事》描述的北京胡同裏一個普通的四合院家庭老米家，三個到了結婚年齡的姑娘都沒有找對象的打算，卻各有各的脾氣，這讓既當姐姐又當媽媽的「米嬸」很是鬧心。由此，「米嬸」想盡辦法為她們招女婿。但是三位女士的極度不配合讓「米嬸」大為頭疼，她想出很多辦法同她們週旋，最終以自己的智慧化解了家人所遇到的種種難題。

該劇自開播以來收視率不錯，宋丹丹在劇中還原了觀眾喜聞樂見的形象，她飾演的幽默風趣的米嬸，讓觀眾再次見證了宋丹丹的喜劇功力。不少觀眾表示：「又看到了那個熟悉的宋丹丹，她在劇中演的米嬸全家都很喜歡。」

52歲的宋丹丹表示喜歡演老太太，因為「演老太太放鬆，不用天天起大早化妝」。
