國立故宮博物院原訂7月喊漲門票，但在立委認為「人到故宮參觀的人數下降，若再漲門票，恐再降低國人參觀意願」的考量下，暫緩漲價門票；團客的部分，館方不願以「差別待遇」對待外國人，同樣凍漲。

近年來因陸客來台，參訪故宮人數迅速攀升，在人事、水電營運成本激增的情況下，故宮日前喊漲門票，不過藍綠立委都認為，國人參觀故宮的意願本就不高，一旦門票上漲，更將國人推向故宮大門之外，因此作成故宮門票不漲的決定。

另外，有立委提出想法「只漲團客」，但遭故宮院長馮明珠否決，她說，如果差別待遇對待外國人，恐是違反世界貿易組織的作法，故宮不願意如此，因此決定全部緩漲，等待之後提出更好的方案，再看有無漲價的可能。
