（中央社記者潘智義台北30日電）研調機構WitsView表示，降價將成為今年推廣觸控筆電的策略核心，降低單片觸控模組（OGS）成本，成為目標能否達成的關鍵。
WitsView分析，觸控筆電雖然吸睛，但售價太貴成為銷量無法成長的阻力，降低觸控模組成本，進而壓低筆電售價，已是必然趨勢；除關鍵零組件降價，生產良率提升，適當的材料與架構選擇，同樣有助於壓縮成本。
WitsView研究協理邱宇彬指出，同樣搭載觸控模組的平板電腦，與智慧型手機相較，筆電最大的差異在於多半在定點使用，移動操作的機會少，自然也減低掉落的風險。
邱宇彬強調，因為觸控模組被妥善的保護在機殼之內，相對於其他手持式裝置，筆電對OGS觸控模組的強度要求明顯降低，讓價格便宜的鈉鈣玻璃（Soda-limeGlass）順勢成為筆電OGS玻璃材料的主流。
他認為，如康寧Gorilla等一向在保護玻璃市場無往不利的鋁矽酸鹽玻璃（Alkali-AluminosilicateGlass），現階段也因為價格比鈉鈣玻璃多出4至5倍，在成本掛帥的氣氛下推廣並不順遂。
