| 鴻海攜手謀智合作火狐開放平台

鴻海今天和謀智(Mozilla)宣布合作Firefox OS開放平台。鴻海iDSBG事業群總經理劉揚偉表示，HTML 5網路技術會是鴻海「八屏一網一雲」布局的重要平台。
鴻海今天和謀智召開記者會，宣布簽署合作備忘錄，將進行策略結盟，合作Firefox OS開放平台，攜手開發搭載以HTML 5與開發網路技術為核心的Firefox OS裝置。
鴻海創新數位系統事業群(iDSBG)總經理劉揚偉與謀智全球行動裝置資深副總裁兼亞洲區營運總裁及台灣分公司執行長宮力博士，代表雙方出席。
劉揚偉表示，很高興這次鴻海能與Mozilla因願景相同進行合作。Mozilla開發的Firefox OS以HTML 5與開發網路技術為主要架構，與鴻海目前推動的軟硬結合策略不謀而合；相信可藉由彼此合作所開發軟硬體整合的全新載體，讓更多客戶與終端消費者受益。
劉揚偉指出，HTML 5網路技術會是鴻海「八屏一網一雲」布局的重要平台。謀智是HTML 5作業平台的領先者，雙方可共同打造使用者體驗的作業平台環境。
鴻海表示，目前朝向「八屏一網一雲」產品布局發展，除原先鴻海擅長的硬體製造技術優勢，也力求開發更多提供「硬體+軟體+內容+服務」的整合型全新載體。
