| 印度車市商機大！Panasonic傳建車用電池廠搶市

 日經新聞5月31日報導，為了因應印度車市持續擴大，Panasonic計劃於印度當地興建一座車用鉛電池廠，並預計於2014年啟用量產。據報導，該座印度工廠將成為Panasonic第4座車用鉛電池廠(另3座位於日本靜岡縣湖西市、泰國、中國大陸)，所生產的鉛電池除汽車用途外，也將供應給通訊設備使用。
據報導，Panasonic集團公司Automotive & Industrial Systems Company(AIS)社長山田喜彥於5月31日接受訪談時表示，印度市場需求龐大，目前該公司雖主要藉由「進口」來滿足印度市場的需求，惟之後計畫於當地進行生產；山田喜彥並未明示具體的投資額及生產規模。
據日經指出，AIS旗下電池、半導體等6個事業部門上年度(2012年4月-2013年3月)營損額達約600億日圓，故為了刪減成本，AIS計畫於3年內裁員5千人；截至2013年3月底為止，AIS全球員工人數約11.1萬人。
日經新聞曾於日前報導指出，根據汽車調查公司FOURIN的資料顯示，2012年印度國內新車銷售量約278萬台，預估2020年時其銷售量將擴增至1,000萬台左右的規模。

還記得Jason Giambi嗎？相信許多洋基迷與運動家迷都難以忘懷的重砲手又回來了，不過這次，他卻是幫助印地安人隊以5:0完封對手。
印地安人隊先發投手Ubaldo Jimenez投出8局無失分的精采表現，只讓對手敲出4支零星安打，飆出7次三振，順利搶下本季第4勝。
42歲的Giambi則是敲出本季第5轟，他在2局下敲出2分彈，先幫球隊首開記錄。
結果次局他也在一、二有人的局面再度揮出適時安打，讓印地安人隊以3:0持續領先。
Asdrubal Cabrera也在5局下火上加油，追加2分彈奠定勝基，最後笑臉部隊成功抵擋光芒。 (接下一頁)
