檢調發現，北市益良食品行涉將用於油漆、有致癌風險的工業染料「皂黃」，以食用染料名義賣給新北市新莊「尤協豐豆干店」，店方再用於染黃拜拜用大豆干。由於一般豆干染色的食用色素，每公斤6、700元，尤協豐取得的價格僅300元，成本明顯便宜1倍，檢調懷疑店方也知染料有問題。

林口長庚臨床毒物科主任林杰樑表示，皂黃毒性強，吃多恐傷肝，動物實驗顯示長期吃會造成肝腫瘤。

美國俄亥俄州有3名女子遭性奴般囚禁10年的案子，今日檢察官表示，對52歲主嫌卡斯楚(Ariel Castro)控訴329項罪名，其中包括139項性侵罪，以及177項綁架罪。另外還有2項是關於謀殺威脅的罪名。
