〔自由時報記者楊金城／新營報導〕新營南紙社區將在本月八日舉辦端午節陸上龍舟比賽，用平台車打造的兩艘龍舟昨天進行整裝、結綵打扮，在糖鐵鐵道賽龍舟的長度達四百米，相當有趣。
今年已有廿隊報名參賽，分男子、女子組比賽，每隊有一名鼓手兼奪標手和四名划槳手，到本週四都還可以報名，前三名有獎金，報名電話洽詢南紙社區辦公室六五七一○四八。社區理事長郭崑德說，南紙社區陸上龍舟比賽，今年是第五年舉辦，一年比一年熱鬧，當天還有虎仔香ＤＩＹ體驗、卡拉ＯＫ和粽子品嘗。南紙龍舟賽特別處在社區以糖鐵打造卸鹽台花園中的鐵道為比賽賽道，今年增加至四百米，所謂「划槳」就是拿竹竿撐地推動龍舟快速前進，需要團隊默契、技巧、臂力和體力。
南紙社區居民組了兩隊參賽，但沒以地主優勢在賽前搬出龍舟偷練，以示比賽公平公正，用平台車打造的兩艘龍舟才在昨天進行整裝、結綵打扮，本月八日比賽當天也有龍舟點睛祈福儀式，一點也不馬虎。
