對於台北市長郝龍斌籲思考特偵組退場機制、台中市長胡志強「鞋店」說，外界解讀成中生代槓上黨中央。兩人今（21）日都淡化相關議題。
郝龍斌昨天受訪表示，特偵組處理監聽及司法關說案件，已讓民眾懷疑其公信力，應慎重考慮特偵組退場機制；另外，媒體報導，胡志強昨天在就職週年記者會說「台灣早就有人開鞋店了」。外界解讀為國民黨接班梯隊開始與總統馬英九切割。
胡志強今天解釋，昨天是記者會後跟記者聊天時，有記者問到他最近好像常被台北政壇「穿小鞋」，他才開玩笑回說「有人用丟的，比我還多」，其實是一句幽默的話，他不相信有人會把這樣的笑話懷疑到如此地步。
有關總統府否認胡志強將接任監察院長的說法，胡志強也強調，他已說過不下十次不會入閣，也沒有人與他談過，總統府的說法與他一致，「沒有就是沒有」，監察院長也不是他的選項，但有人就是不相信。對於總統府的說法，他不會覺得訝異與難過。
他進一步指出，幽默的話大家都應該一笑置之，「政治上快樂一點，是不是比較好？」胡志強認為，馬總統絕對不會在意那句話，馬總統也是有幽默感的人，這幾年的幽默感也愈來愈強，聽到這句話，應該只會笑一笑，覺得「老胡好像反應很快」。
郝龍斌今天出席台北市再興中學「再興．我的家」65週年校慶活動。媒體會後詢問，對於希望特偵組建立退場機制等發言，和馬團隊立場不同調，今晚將和馬總統同台耶誕歡樂活動，是否會尷尬？郝龍斌僅表示「我要說的話，這兩天已經說了」。
