【綜合報導】苗栗縣1名連姓男子(57歲)與中國籍1名周姓女子2009年結婚，周女結婚5天就吵著要回娘家，經常開口要錢回中國，連男拒買1套3萬元名牌衣給她，從此拒同房，連男住院20多天，周女也不聞不問；連男訴離獲准。
《自由時報》報導，連男每月都給周女1至2萬元家用，但她每隔2到3個月以各種名目要錢，陸續要了100多萬元；連男感慨，妻只會要錢 ，訴請離婚。法官開庭，周女未到場也沒提出任何聲明，認為她的行為已構成惡意遺棄連男，判准離婚。

【綜合報導】美國俄亥俄州達頓市昨天舉行飛機特技表演，不少當地民眾攜老扶幼到場參觀。不料一架參與表演的飛機在一個空中翻滾後，墜落地面，當場陷入一片火海，機師和坐在機身頂端的女特技演員不幸罹難。
這場維克壯飛機特技表演（Vectren Air Show）在俄亥俄州的達頓國際機場舉行，悲劇發生在人潮眾多的正午時分。失事的450 HP Stearman型飛機載著坐在頂端的女特技演員，她在機翼上的表演原為重頭戲，不料演變成悲劇。地面觀眾驚慌四散。意外發生後，主辦單位已宣佈取消當天其他表演節目。
