【綜合報導】香港將舉辦七一「佔領中環」活動，壹傳媒集團主席黎智英出席電台節目時指出，他與民主黨創黨主席李柱銘及天主教香港教區前主教陳日君樞機都會參與，直言「已準備好要去坐牢」。

| 企業促貶台幣 彭淮南：機車族恐增油錢

央行理監事會議，總裁彭淮南大玩「考前猜題」，準備了30頁資料，要滿足所有記者問題，首要就是宣布連續第八季維持率重貼現率1.875%不變。央行總裁彭淮南：「假如說對未來物價判斷物價會上漲的話，中央銀行就會提高利率。」
台灣維持貨幣寬鬆，但美國卻選擇量化寬鬆(QE)政策提前退場，國際股市全面下挫，彭淮南也擔心帶來重大衝擊。
彭淮南：「QE進場容易，退場難，大家希望他退場時候是有秩序退場，不要讓全世界金融市場動盪不安，漁船一定會受到航空母艦影響，但是一定要自己盡最大努力把船穩下來。」
擔憂國際情勢，彭淮南也替加油族發聲，因為工具機業一再主張新台幣貶值，但彭淮南有備而來，新台幣如果對美元貶值1%，工具機業者出口所得美元換成台幣收益增加1%，但進口業者如中油，支付1美元台幣就需增加1%成本，1500萬機車族每次加油，油錢可能要增加1%。
彭淮南強調，匯率波動不只考量出口也得考量進口，央行會適時維持匯率市場穩定，準10A總裁可說是憂國憂民！
