| 〈溫網〉Federer爆冷出局 Tsonga因傷退賽

今年溫布頓儼然成為「種子惡夢」！繼世界第5的Rafael Nadal首輪爆冷出局後，先是法國好手Jo-Wilfried Tsonga苦戰3盤因傷退賽，再有7屆溫網冠軍Roger Federer提前在第2輪打包，中斷他連續36個大滿貫都至少闖進8強的紀錄。
Federer此役以7比6(5)、6比7(5)、5比7、6比7(5)栽在世界排名116的烏克蘭選手Sergiy Stakhovsky手上，這是這位坐擁史上最多17座大滿貫金盃的瑞士名將繼2003年法網首輪淘汰後，4大賽最差成績。
「這是個挫折，相當令人失望，無論你要怎麼稱呼它。」溫網衛冕冠軍Federer說：「但你還是必須想辦法克服，至少有些東西沒被傷得這麼深，這是肯定的。」
至少Federer並不孤單，女單第2種子Victoria Azarenka，男單第6種子Tsonga、第10種子Marin Cilic、第18種子「馬拉松人」John Isner，以及在首輪打敗Nadal的Steve Darcis等7人都因傷提前退賽，被認為是網球公開年代後的45年以來，大滿貫單日最多人退賽的1天。
更別提同日爆冷出局的前世界球王與球后們，2004年溫網女單冠軍Maria Sharapova以直落2輸給世界排名131的Michelle Larcher de Brito，Caroline Wozniacki、Ana Ivanovic、Jelena Jankovic、Azarenka與Lleyton Hewitt也都相繼遭淘汰，加上Federer，7人共收獲26座大滿貫金盃。
「我還是無法相信這真的發生了！」擊敗Federer的Stakhovsky賽後仍不可置信地說：「當你在溫布頓對上Federer，就像同時在和2個人作戰，一個是他，一個是他的自信。」
Stakhovsky不僅3盤搶7打得出色，更能把握關鍵機會，全場飆出72記致勝球，中斷Federer 9年、連36個大滿貫都進8強的紀錄。Federer說：「這是個很棒的數字(36)，我能為此感到驕傲，但這不是我會去哀悼的事。」
