【綜合報導】旅美投手王建民，將在台北時間7點，在藍鳥主場先發迎戰底特律老虎，爭取本季第二勝。
王建民目前戰績1勝1敗，防禦率5.24，上一場先發面對波士頓紅襪1.2局掉7分自責分，吞下本季首敗。
老虎預計派出的先發投手為費斯特，目前6勝5敗，防禦率3.50。

| 建仔先發戰老虎 藍鳥主砲紛掛傷號

【楊逸民／加拿大多倫多報導】王建民今天先發出戰底特律老虎隊，現已經在場邊熱身等待比賽開始。建仔生涯對老虎隊戰績不錯，6場先發拿下5勝0敗，防禦率僅2.54。
不過藍鳥打線本周有變動，主砲英卡那西歐(Edwin Encarnacion)、林德(Adam Lind)都因身體不適，沒有排進先發打線，過去4場與建仔搭配的捕手艾倫比西亞(J.P. Arenbicia)今天也沒有和建仔搭檔，則是由2號捕手，也是狄奇(R.A. Dickey)專屬蝴蝶球捕手托利(Josh Thole)擔任先發，這是建仔首度與托利搭配。

| 建仔先發 空姐們趕來加油

【楊逸民／加拿大多倫多報導】建仔今先發，來自台灣的球迷不少，其中長榮航空輪值的機組員，趁著在多倫多休息期間，特別來到球場幫王建民加油。
空姐還特別在下榻旅館做了幫建仔加油的海報，她們都表示，這是第1次在現場看建仔的比賽，希望可以見到建仔有好的表現。
