| 1億支目標是可能的？韓媒：三星S4出貨量突破2千萬支

南韓媒體聯合新聞通訊社(Yonhap News)日文版3日報導，根據電子業界的訊息指出，截至6月底為止三星電子(Samsung Electronics)最新推出的旗艦智慧手機「Galaxy S4」全球銷售量(指出貨給電信業者的數量，而非實際賣給消費者的數量；以下同)已正式突破2千萬支大關；Galaxy S4於4月26日開賣，之後銷售量於5月底就突破1千萬支大關。
報導指出，S4前代機種「Galaxy S3」銷售量費時100天時間始突破2千萬支，故S4的銷售速度達S3的1.7倍，且因S4銷售速度優於預期，故三星內部訂下的1億支目標也可望達成；目前S3累計銷售量達6,000萬支以上。報導並指出，因S4銷售強勁，故三星4-6月全球智慧手機市佔率也幾乎篤定可穩坐第1位。
彭博社7月1日報導，三星電子6月份市值縮水253億美元、比競爭對手Sony的總市值還要多，主要是受到智慧型手機旗艦機種Galaxy S4銷售不如預期的影響。Leading Investment & Securities分析師Oh Sang Woo指出，消費者認為S4與前一代相差不多、不值得花錢升級；中國大陸廠商目前是三星最大的競爭對手。
JP摩根證券將S4今年銷售量預估值自8千萬支下修至6千萬支。以Shawn Kim為首的摩根士丹利證券也將S4今年銷售量預估值自7,100萬支下修至6,100萬支。
