| 張銘煌鉛球摘銀 亞田賽衛冕金牌失利

【陳國偉／綜合報導】台灣鉛球國手張銘煌，剛剛在印度普恩所舉辦的2013亞洲田徑錦標賽，以19公尺61成績，拿下一面銀牌！
張銘煌是台灣男子鉛球20公尺58全國紀錄保持人，今年個人最佳成績是19公尺89，第1次試擲張銘煌飆出全場最佳的19公尺29排名第1，可惜赫布希在第5次試擲，繳出全場最佳的19公尺68竄上領先，張銘煌在總計6次試擲機會，最佳成績僅19公尺61，距離金牌差了7公分。
開賽首日，台灣代表隊累計獲得1銀、1銅，共2面獎牌。

【綜合報導】澳洲有一名4歲女童，誤把鋰電池當糖果吃，導致胃出血，送醫後不幸身亡。
當地兒童安全組織提醒家長要小心，因為小孩吞下鋰電池，多半會卡在食道，口水會和鋰電池產生化學作用，約一小時就會把食道燒出洞來，繼而燒至主動脈和脊椎等。澳洲每周約有4名兒童因涉及鋰電池事故，到急診室求助。

| 年少離家出走受助 成年捐代用餐回饋

【涂建豐／高雄報導】高市一名男子小傑，十三歲時因遭家人懷疑偷錢，一氣之下離家出走，分無分文、打工碰壁，但關鍵時刻總有人幫助他度過難關。他十二年後才聽從女友勸告，回家與父母團聚。
小傑常到一家「泰饌9th」泰式餐廳用餐，聽說餐廳要作待用餐，他想起十年前曾有位帶著唐氏症寶寶的婦人，看他很久沒吃飯，就請他吃便當，主動表示也要共襄盛舉，先捐三十份餐點幫助需要的民眾。
