| 埃及爆衝突 已14人死亡

在埃及總統穆希(Mohamed Mursi)遭軍方罷黜後，支持和反對穆希的群眾在各地爆發衝突。根據埃及國營媒體報導和官員表示，至少已經有14人因衝突而死亡。
官員表示，在北部城市馬沙馬特魯(Marsa Matrouh)有8人喪生，其中包括2名安全部隊。
而國營的中東新聞社(MENA)報導，在地中海城市亞歷山卓也有3人在衝突中死亡，另外至少有50人受傷。根據在當地的目擊者表示，在衝突中，石頭、磚塊齊飛，並爆發了槍戰。
另外在南部明雅(Minya)省則有3人喪生，14人受傷。死者當中包括2名警察。
報導說，在首都開羅南部的法雍省(Fayoum)也有數十人受傷。而穆希所屬的穆斯林兄弟會的政黨自由正義黨(Freedom and Justice Party)也遭到攻擊和縱火。

| 中華職棒／林智勝千安百轟百盜達成 史上第5位

Lamigo桃猿隊與義大犀牛隊下半季首戰，「大師兄」林智勝順利拿到千安百轟百盜紀錄，中職史上第5人。
林智勝是在7局上先安打上壘，然後展開盜壘，順利完成百盜的記錄，聯盟前4位完成此項殊榮的球員分別是張泰山、黃忠義、陳連宏與彭政閔。
林智勝上半季已累積99次盜壘紀錄，終於在下半季首場比賽就完成記錄，現場大螢幕也打出慶祝他百盜成功的字幕。
另外，球場也有放慶祝煙火，現場4771位球迷，一起見證林智勝的歷史時刻。
