【綜合報導】美國國慶日吃熱狗大賽，美國大胃王喬伊切斯納特(Joey Chestnut)，10分鐘吞了69隻熱狗，不僅蟬聯冠軍，還打破自創的68隻紀錄，贏得1萬美元獎金和芥末黃冠軍腰帶。
綽號「大白鯊」的切斯納特已連續7年奪冠，成績超越宿敵小林尊。

| 服貿協議列臨時會議案 江揆希望完成議審

【實習記者黃信維／台北報導】為力促服貿協議能在立法院第二次臨時會完成審議，國民黨今在中央黨部召開黨政協調會議，由總統馬英九、行政院長江宜樺，以及經濟部長張家祝等行政官員向國民黨立委說明服貿協議內容。江揆在受訪時說，希望服貿協議可以排入立院第二次臨時會，並順利通過。
至於有國民黨立委質疑服貿協議的說帖讓人看不懂，江揆則說行政部門也會再溝通，並改進後續文宣資料，達到淺顯易懂目的。
國民黨團書記長賴士葆受訪時也說，國民黨團希望7月29日召開第二次臨時會，處理核四公投、服貿協議、國營事業預算等三大案。至於年金改革，賴說，因勞保修法還未出委員會，故臨時會無法處理軍公教年金改革案，他並說：「勞保修法是民進黨卡的，年金改不成民進黨要負最大責任。」
