| 印度又傳樓塌 80年飯店老舊釀13死

【綜合報導】印度又傳建築物坍塌意外，南部城市塞康德拉巴德(Secunderabad)，當地時間8號早上6點20分左右，發生一2層樓飯店「城市之光」(City Light India Hotel)倒塌事故，造成至少13人死亡，18人受傷。
事故發生後，仍有不少人受困在飯店裡，救難人員馬不停蹄接續搜救，當地民眾表示這棟有80年歷史的飯店，早就該列為危樓關閉，但當地官員卻表示飯店外觀看起來沒什麼問題，所以他們沒有將它列入危險建築的名單上。

「我們不能再讓這名母親失去最後一個兒子！」美國電影《搶救雷恩大兵》中的經典台詞，出現台灣版。上周六救火罹難的消防員陳奕睿，其胞兄陳奕達也是消防員，母親擔心會再失去長子，哭求內政部長李鴻源將長子調回嘉義市家鄉，她悲痛說：「請原諒我的自私，但我不能再白髮送黑髮了！」李鴻源允諾：「放心，交給我處理！」陳奕達則無奈地說：「我捨不得前線的工作，但父母哀求的淚水，我怎能拒絕？」
聯合報-挺體育 一晚募到2億

中國時報-颱風來了 周五防豪雨
今年第七號輕度颱風「蘇力」成形，氣象局最快將在周四發布海上颱風警報，預估最接近台灣的時間為周六。氣象局指出，若蘇力持續增強，不排除形成中度颱風，可能為台灣東北部帶來大量雨勢，周末外出民眾需多加注意。
自由時報-美麗灣案 法院裁定停工
台東縣政府今年三月認定美麗灣渡假村開發案通過環評，准予復工，但當地居民不服，打行政官司要求撤銷該處分，並聲請停工假處分；高雄高等行政法院認為一旦施工，恐無法回復生態，裁定撤銷處分的行政訴訟終結前停止施工。
