| 強颱蘇力恐成西北颱 明晚發陸上警報

【綜合報導】今年編號第7號颱風蘇力上午增強為強烈颱風，目前為止中心位置在花蓮東南東方1400多公里的海面上，以時速23公里的速度朝西北西的方向前進，氣象局預計明天上午發布海上颱風警報、晚間發布陸上颱風警報，蘇力的移動路徑如果不變，可能成為「西北颱」。
氣象局指出，蘇力的暴風圈將在後天中午、下午左右開始影響東北部地區，週五、週六為影響台灣陸地天氣最劇烈的時候，中部以北、東北部地區將感受到較大的風雨，目前蘇力7級風暴風半徑為280公里，強度還可能再微幅增強。依目前的預估資料顯示，蘇力的中心位置將從台灣北部與彭佳嶼之間的海面上通過，如此已構成「西北颱」的條件，若太平洋高壓強度減弱、蘇力北移的可能性較低，也不排除中心會登陸台灣。
中央大學大氣系兼任副教授吳德榮表示，蘇力有登陸可能，若不登陸，也有很高機會成西北颱，要提高警覺。

| 搶收稻穀喝兩杯！ 男子酒駕撞死人

小客車的引擎蓋幾乎被掀起、車頭全毀、擋風玻璃破裂，貨車則是車頭凹陷，兩輛車迎面對撞力道大，女駕駛一度卡在小客車內，送醫後仍傷重不治。
就怕颱風帶來災情，9日晚間，肇事的蘇姓男子剛幫農民把搶收的稻穀送進穀倉，熱情的農民招待他喝點小酒，沒想到他回家時行經雲林口湖鄉東安路段時，疑彎道過大，車輛失控超過雙黃線，跟迎面而來的自小客車對撞釀成大禍。
北港分局巡官張椅勝：「肇事地點是彎道又有酒駕，他可能喝酒就失控衝向那個，疑似跨越雙黃線，衝向對向車道。」
警方到場發現肇事的47歲駕駛渾身酒氣，酒測值高達0.88，重回事發現場，還能看到長長的剎車痕，如今彎道邊拉起布條，呼籲用路人不要酒駕，卻為時已晚，而肇事駕駛也得為自己的行為付出代價。

摘要：又有颱風形成了，上午八點輕颱蘇力在關島附近形成，以每小時23公里速度朝西前進，不排除直撲台灣而來，將會是今年第一個影響台灣的颱風，而且強度還在持續增強，星期五、星期六會最靠近台灣，萬一真的侵台，將可能是中度颱風以上的等級，威力不容小覷。 衛星雲圖上清楚看見，白色的雲朵，結構相當紮實，這是新生成的颱風「蘇力」，就在台灣正東方海面上，距離還有兩千多公里遠，不過在海上蓄積能量的它，可不能輕忽它的威力
