陸軍542旅下士洪仲丘本月4日被操暴斃，家屬希望能查明真相，而媒體報導洪仲丘因違規帶照相手機入營區，加上人緣佳，讓同連士官長陳以人、范佐憲眼紅，且與陳姓士官長等人互看不順眼。
《中天新聞》報導，洪仲丘與其他弟兄相處融洽，不認同陳姓士官長等志願役士兵謾罵的帶兵方式，互看不順眼，因此陳主持洪違規士官評議會時，在場6名志願役士官決議送洪關禁閉。

【綜合報導】韓亞航失事飛機214號班機，降落時速度過低，根據雷達數據顯示，墜機前的飛行速度只有85海里，波音777客機建議的落地時速為137海里。
據Flightaware.com公布的飛行記錄，韓亞航空214號班機在300呎時飛行速度為123海里，100呎時109海里，在200呎時只有85海里，不過目前尚不清楚，速度是否影響飛機著陸失事。
