波音777再傳故障　起飛後折返東京

【綜合報導】韓亞航空波音777客機，日前在美國舊金山機場降落時發生意外，造成2死181受傷，事故原因目前仍在調查中。但同款型號客機，今天(9日)清晨在日本東京又發生故障。

日本航空(JAL)一架波音777客機，搭載236位乘客及13名機組人員，凌晨從東京羽田機場起飛，前往美國舊金山，起飛後駕駛艙的警告指示亮起，顯示液壓系統內的液體水面過低，只得在起飛後4小時折返。

機上乘客轉搭另一班客機，安全抵達目的地。技術人員檢查後，發現是班機液壓系統滲漏造成。

有這麼嚴重嗎？美國政府砸爛價值 525 萬元電腦設備，只為殺病毒！

7f270b9f02711a1cf91b63f71edb7278 病毒、蠕蟲等惡意軟體在現今的網路世界中已經見怪不怪，但貴為資訊強國的美國政府，竟發生經濟發展局（EDA）將部門內價值 17 萬美元（約新台幣 525 萬）的電腦主機、印表機、滑鼠、鍵盤通通銷毀，只因為國土安全局告知他們有惡意軟體潛伏在系統中。

時間倒轉回 2011 年 12 月，美國國土安全部（DHS）通知國家大氣海洋局（NOAA）與隸屬美國商務部的經濟發展局（EDA），告知此兩部門的網路系統有病毒與惡意軟體潛伏其中。大氣海洋局花了幾週就找出受感染的設備並將病毒清理乾淨。

而經濟發展局則找了一群外包的資安專家來解決這個問題，並要求他們不只要把病毒殺光光，還要建立高強度保護機制，保證不再遭受病毒侵犯。經過專家們詳細調查，發現系統內部並沒有病毒，只有幾隻惡意軟體，而這些都可以透過還原映像檔的方式簡單清除。但專家們無法「保證」未來系統永遠安全無虞。

聽到這番話，經濟發展局資訊主管（Chief Information Officer）做了一項驚天之舉，他認為這一切都是有計劃的跨國網路攻擊事件，必須採取嚴厲的物理性破壞殺死惡意軟體。

他們隨即關閉系統對外所有連線，並把部門內的電腦主機、螢幕、網路攝影機通通銷毀，甚至連鍵盤、滑鼠都不放過。整個過程持續到 2012 年 8 月 1 日，經濟發展局才因部門預算用盡，不得不暫停這項硬體摧毀計劃，同時等待上級單位的撥款。

此時他們已經累積銷毀價值 17.5 萬美元（約新台幣 525 萬）的電腦硬體；相關的資安專家費用、備援系統建立等花費加一加更高達 274.7 萬美元（折合新台幣 8,241 萬元）。這些金額相當於經濟發展局年度資訊預算的一半，也引起審計單位注意而進入調查程序。

由於整個事件過於曲折離奇，一直到審計部於 6 月底完成調查報告，才由美國聯邦新聞電台（Federal News Radio）的報導而公諸於世。

先別說政府單位，就連一般公司的 IT 部門來說，病毒或蠕蟲等惡意軟體應該司空見慣了吧！國家大氣海洋局只花了幾個禮拜就搞定，經濟發展局作出這樣的判斷如今看來是有些誇張。不過美國民眾應該更感到錯愕，錯誤的政府決策，白白浪費人民的納稅血汗錢。
