| 財報─Caterpillar第二季獲利下降43.5% 下修今年財測目標

工業巨擘Caterpillar Inc.(CAT-US)周三(24日)公布，受到營運部門，尤其是礦業項目需求疲弱的影響，其第2季獲利下降43.5%。

Caterpillar今日並將今(2013)年獲利預測值砍降。
該公司第2季淨利達9.6億美元，營收為146億美元，低於1年前的獲利17億美元和167億美元的營收。
這些結果轉換成每股獲利數字為1.45美元，低於分析師預測的1.70美元。營收也較149億美元估值為低。
由於數家大型礦商如力拓(Rio Tinto Plc.)(RIO-UK)受中國及其他地方金屬需求走弱影響而將自身資本支出削減，Caterpillar此前已指出礦業設備需求是個弱點。資源部門營收因此遽降34%至36億美元。
建築產業營收亦走降9%，動力系統營收也下降5%。
Caterpillar執行長Doug Oberhelman表示，令獲利走降的1個因素為經銷商機械庫存水位大幅削減10億美元，因該公司的經銷商自Caterpillar產品需求中心賣出更多產品且自身持有少量產品。
該公司並預估今年下半年將出現額外的15-20億美元庫存水位下滑情形。
Oberhelman也引述工廠暫時關閉、陸續裁員跟其他削減情形來指出：「經銷商庫存水位遽降且礦業下滑，2013年會是個艱難的一年，我們也已採取了削減成本的行動。」
Caterpillar並將今(2013)年獲利預測值砍降至約每股6.50美元水準，營收則為560-580億美元。
該公司原先預測每股獲利7美元，營收為570-610億美元。

馬英九總統順利連任國民黨主席，下午主持選後第一次的中常會，將立即處理副主席詹春柏回任案，讓「輔選有功」的詹春柏回任副主席。是否所有副主席都遭到留任，還是黨務人事改組可能上及副主席？黨內人士表示，今日僅單純處理詹春柏案，因為詹春柏本來就是黨副主席，請辭是為了嚴守選舉時的黨務中立，選後已無黨務中立問題。
