溫朝江開發的「卡車輪胎鋼圈爐灶」，是用廢棄鋼圈切割出「灶門」，可放入柴火，上面接煙囪，底座再安上4個輪子，可輕易移動，「環保鋼圈爐灶」一層式的售價3千多元，兩層式5千多元，他還附一個套環，大鍋、小鍋的尺寸都可以用。

溫朝江說，他是雲林縣土庫人，早年鄉下受教育程度不高，他讀到虎尾農工畢業，在家鄉開鐵工廠幾十年，隨著年紀漸大，工廠交給兒子經營，有一天經過收購輪胎鋼圈的回收廠，突發奇想進行改造。

都市多使用瓦斯爐，但鄉下山區有很多廢木材，不少農民還是使用爐灶省瓦斯錢，可用來炊粿、炊粽、煮開水，但打造一座磚灶要好幾萬元，溫朝江的鋼圈爐灶造價便宜又不佔空間，一年可賣出600個左右。

溫朝江平日開貨車巡迴各地販售，從北港牛墟、鹽水牛墟、善化牛墟到嘉義梅山、台南玉井山區，還可依顧客需求改裝，最近又利用洗衣機的內槽開發出「環保金爐」，創意十足，也很受歡迎。

歸仁社區理事長許繁清說，歸仁孔廟在民國16年由地方仕紳與詩人共同募款興建，屬私有財產，早期疏於管理，有不良分子在這裡吸毒，成為治安死角。10多年前自歸仁國小退休的許東川，自發與一群社區志工天天巡視、打掃，才會有現在的清潔環境，志工無私默默付出，感動不少人。

許繁清說，孔廟內有6棵龍眼樹，今年有居民捐錢認養，無償提供給社區辦活動時，讓大家體驗摘龍眼樂趣。接下來直到10月的周六，會舉辦耆老講古、認識紅瓦厝來源等，活動免費，有興趣可電洽2391569。

昨天近50位家長及小朋友以繽紛色彩畫出環境清幽的歸仁孔廟，小朋友開心體驗摘龍眼，大家人手一袋龍眼帶回家品嘗，直呼「賺到了」。
