陸軍下士洪仲丘疑遭虐死，案發至今20多天，全台輿論要求查明案情。洪母28日在台中后里家中接受媒體採訪時表示，洪仲丘一向是個很陽光、樂觀的孩，但是服役後期開始有生氣、脾氣暴躁等負面情緒。
洪母說，洪仲丘學生時代常去打工，到飯店拖行李、水上樂園當協助救生員、餐廳洗碗，他不在乎錢多少，只為累積社會經驗，只要能做的，仲丘都不嫌棄。
洪母表示，在兒子服役後期，明顯出現負面情緒，休假返家會抱怨長官；她都開導說，長官有他的立場，要體恤、不要對抗，但也沒想到軍中會有這種做法，導致發生這種憾事，真的匪夷所思。
針對家屬要求洪仲丘所屬單位，陸軍542旅旅長沈威志少將改列為被告，洪家委任律師邱顯智28日上午到高軍檢參與偵查庭後，受訪時表示原本是證人身分的沈威志，今天上午已被高軍檢轉為被告，目前是洪案被告中層級最高的軍官。

| 1-5月高速公路收費站通行車輛數微揚

【經濟日報記者邱建業／28日電】主計總處指出，依交通部統計，今（2013）年1-5月高速公路收費站通行車輛數2.4億輛次，較上年同期增0.8%，其中小型車通行輛次增1.2%。
值得注意的是，可反映景氣狀況的大客貨車及聯結車通行量次分別減0.3%及3.0%。
主計總處表示，ETC車道通行數在全面實施免費供裝eTag活動與通行費九折優惠下，較上年同期增63.8%，占全部通行車輛數達72.1%。
就各高速公路通行量觀察，以國道1號1.5億輛次（占全部通行車輛數六成）比重最大，年增1.5%，國道5號年增1.3%，國道3號則年減0.5%；通行費收入87.9億元，年減5.2%。
