| 二氧化碳充氣 腸鏡檢後不脹痛

為了減輕無痛式大腸鏡檢查後的腹脹及腹痛問題，嘉義市天主教聖馬爾定醫院引進二氧化碳充氣系統，讓檢查後無脹痛。
聖馬爾定醫院胃腸科醫師羅清池今天表示，早期大腸癌通常無明顯症狀，只要能定期進行大腸鏡檢查，早期發現，通常都有很高的治癒率。
但是，民眾對於大腸鏡檢查卻感到卻步，原因是檢查過程中的不適，以及檢查後的脹痛問題。隨著醫學科技的進步，無痛的麻醉式大腸鏡檢查，讓民眾不再產生畏懼感。
然而，多數患者在進行無痛式大腸鏡檢查後，仍會產生腹脹及腹痛問題，為此聖馬爾定醫院全面引進二氧化碳充氣系統，讓受檢者不再脹痛。
羅清池表示，因為二氧化碳在腸道的吸收速度比一般空氣快100倍，再搭配無痛式大腸鏡檢查，因此受檢者在檢查後，不會再有腹脹及腹痛的不適，並可在半小時內回家。
他說，院方也將NBI（窄波早期癌辨識）內視鏡列為標準配備。NBI是以濾片使光線波長窄化，使顏色更鮮明，以凸顯粘膜表層微血管及粘膜形態構造，可提高早期癌的發現率。
