| 英女王「第三次大戰」預備演說曝光

英國官員替女王和當時的首相柴契爾夫人，準備的第三次世界大戰文告公諸於世。
一九八三年，美、蘇兩大強權，文攻武嚇日益升高。美國總統雷根說蘇聯是「邪惡帝國」，他還在歐洲部署了中程核子飛彈，同時啟動了他的星戰計畫。
當時，北大西洋公約組織一場演習，太過逼真，差點讓蘇聯真的反擊。
英國內閣替女王和首相擬妥了一旦開戰的文告，在演習期間宣讀。到時候，女王要告訴臣民，她從沒想到必須負起如此神聖、可怕的責任。英國人碰上了前所未有的危險。她還說，這次攻擊是科技的濫用。她也提到她的愛子安得魯在前線服役。
柴契爾說的則是，英國正遭到侵略，英國將和盟邦一起反擊。
