| 預約辦護照免排隊 民眾直呼省時又便民

【陳培煌╱台北報導】外交部領務局24日起開辦網路預約申辦護照時間，今早正式受理預約民眾申辦作業。今年40歲、從事軟體業的劉姓民眾搶得頭香，他說，是從網路上得知消息，不到10分鐘就辦完，因工作地點在中正紀念堂附近，他馬上就能回去上班。今年47歲、從事資訊業的林姓民眾則特地從新竹北上，他說，之前等候時間至少就要30分鐘，現在作業快速，他覺得很方便。
領務局局長龔中誠受訪說，民眾事先可到領務局網頁填寫申辦護照資料，並預約欲赴現場申辦時段，當天可到「公共事務機」前拿出身分證讓機器掃描，就能直接套印先前填好的表格並列印出來。領務局並設置一個網路預約申辦櫃檯。目前一天受理90人，每個時段受理6人，未來若運作順暢，考慮增加受理人數。龔中誠也提醒民眾，出國前要注意護照效期是否過期，以免影響旅行計畫。
據《蘋果》記者現場觀察，領務局上午8時30分開門後，第一個時段預約6人在8時46分已經全部辦完，第9位預約申辦民眾在8時52分已經報到完畢，速度相當快。而這台造價台幣18萬的「公共事務機」處理速度流暢，民眾放置身放證掃描後，申請文件很快就列印出來。

| 野村：DirecTV明年或提價4.4% DISH為5.5%

北京時間12月27日凌晨消息，野村證券周四表示，有線電視網directv(nasdaq：)明年可能將基本服務包收費提高4.4%，增幅將超過2013年的3.2%，旨在抵消內容成本上漲，而dish networks(nasdaq: dish)可能漲價5.5%，將明顯低於2013年的16.3%。

野村分析師艾克維茨(adam ilkowitz)認為，directv的提價可能使2014年的opbda(計入折舊攤銷前運營利潤率)維持持平水平，因為與此同時內容成本將繼續攀升。通常情況下，directv的提價將在每年2月進行，而dish一般是在1月。
