林口長庚醫院臨床毒物科主任林杰樑因為肺部感染，傳出病危消息，目前仍在林口長庚醫院加護病房治療，台大醫院創傷醫學部主任柯文哲表示，要看使用葉克膜能否救回來，5日晚間是關鍵。林的妻子譚敦慈也表示，若可以的話，願意為先生折壽。

據《聯合晚報》報導，林杰樑目前仍深陷昏迷，還在長庚加護病房治療，一名熟識林杰樑的醫師私下表示，林杰樑送醫時，血壓降得很低、腦部缺氧，因此醫療團隊趕緊幫他裝上葉克膜維生，此外，因為感染問題，目前也使用抗生素治療中。

柯文哲表示，葉克膜使用愈久，併發症愈多，最怕的就是使用葉克膜後，心肺功能恢復了，但腦部受損變成植物人，推估5日晚上可以看出葉克膜是否對林杰樑有幫助。

譚敦慈4日在大兒子林泓楨陪同下，出現在長庚醫院的加護病房謝謝大家關心，她表示林杰樑是位好老公、好爸爸，也是位好醫生，很感謝有很多患者在法會上為先生祈福，如果可以的話，願意為先生折壽。

陸軍下士洪仲丘在軍中被過度操練致死，今（4）日正式舉行告別式，由於洪仲丘是因為熱中暑致死，在洪遺體火化後，家屬選定將骨灰安放在有空調設備的南投名間鄉萬丹山生命紀念園。洪仲丘姊姊想到再也見不到弟弟，忍不住直流眼淚。

洪仲丘告別式上午結束後，遺體就移往大甲火葬場火化，洪慈庸難忍傷痛眼淚直流。洪仲丘在成功大學的系主任、導師及同學代表都出席表達致哀。朋友們還為洪仲丘製作短片，以洪仲丘最愛的五月天樂團歌曲「乾杯」作背景音樂。
