| A-Rod復出首轟 滿場噓聲變歡呼

仍身陷禁藥風暴的A-Rod(右)，今天面對老虎敲出本季歸隊後的第1支全壘打。

球迷是善變的，當A-Rod站上打擊區，儘管是在洋基主場，噓聲還是多於掌聲。但當A-Rod 把球扛出左外野大牆之際，噓聲立刻變為歡呼聲。
處於上訴期間，仍可正常出賽的A-Rod，今天面對虎王瓦蘭德(Justin Verlander)敲出相隔近11個月，本季歸隊後的第1支全壘打，生涯第648號。但比賽的焦點在第9局，出現兩大意外，話題性壓過A-Rod。永遠的守護神李維拉(Mariano Rivera)竟生涯首度連3場救援失敗，不過9局下賈納轟出再見全壘打護航，最終洋基還是以5：4驚險擊敗老虎。
李維拉的「意外」之旅始於上周四，面對白襪無法守住1分領先。兩天後面對老虎，9局上兩出局被「三冠王」卡布雷拉(Miguel Cabrera)轟出兩分砲。相隔兩天，洋基再度打出3：1領先交給李維拉守成，但卡砲毫不留情，再度修理李維拉，轟出右外野陽春砲，災情重演，雙方剩1分差。卡砲也成為史上首位連兩打席面對李維拉都開轟的球員。
9局下小將賈納(Brett Gardner)跳出來當英雄，兩出局後從維拉斯(Jose Veras)手中轟出再見全壘打，終結充滿戲劇性的一天。
