【綜合報導】高雄市教育局規劃104學年度將鼓山區中山及九如兩所國小遷併至美術館旁，因校地不足擬徵收美術東一路及公園用地，引發居民反彈聲浪，校方也認為此舉影響學生受教學權及教學品質，且一旦徵收美術東一路及公園用地會犧牲居民生活品質及休憩活動空間。對此，兩局代表面對質疑回應說目前只是草案，歡迎居民提供意見，會再進行內部討論，並持續與民眾溝通。
校方表示依照教育局目前規劃來看，新設立小學和中華藝術學校僅一牆之隔，教學品質及受教權會受到嚴重干擾，且原本居民休憩活動、親子活動空間，中華藝術學校也有許多藝文活動，希望順應居民意見保留用地。而里民代表哟對併校班級數將多達90班、校舍蓋到5樓等大校規劃不當表達不滿，堅持反對兩校遷併到美術館，將害學生活動空間不足，教學品質堪憂，痛批市府黑箱作業。

【高堂堯／南投報導】今晚是七夕情人夜，南投天空之橋首度夜間開放至9點，縣政府邀請77對情侶或夫妻手持心型氣球和玫瑰花，在晚間7點7分隨著悠揚音樂漫步上新加裝LED燈光的橋身，在橋上吹著夏夜晚風，欣賞美麗的彰化平原夜景、擁抱、親吻，訴說無盡愛意，讓天空之橋瞬間幻化成現代鵲橋。
「心裡很感動！」在北部工作的30歲薛先生和在彰化工作的林小姐，經過5年愛情遠距長跑，決定10月份參加南投縣政府在日月潭舉辦的集體婚禮，今晚2人特地到天空之橋「暖身」，互訴衷情；彰化大學生許同學對女友說：「雖然不時有爭執，我仍希望和你一直走下去！」女友感動獻上熱吻，讓現場溫度驟升。

37歲呂姓男子日前在卡拉ＯＫ店與人互相嗆聲鬥毆後，拿出手槍射天花板並恐嚇對方後，搭車逃逸。警方循線將他逮捕，查緝槍枝來源。
據報導，呂男9日晚間和3名朋友到中山北路上的1家卡拉OK喝酒，酒後和鄰座客人起衝突，口角不斷，甚至還拿起酒瓶互毆。呂男看狀況不對，從包包裡拿出制式手槍朝天花板開槍，並拿著槍揮舞、恐嚇、並和同伴毆打對方，把對方都打到左後耳撕裂傷，才搭車離開。
台北市中山警分局表示，呂男說槍枝是從已過世的蔡姓幫派老大送的，自己並沒有混過幫派。目前全案以傷害、違反槍砲彈藥刀械管制條例，將涉及恐嚇、違反槍砲彈藥刀械管制條例的呂男逮捕。
