　　台中糕餅最美味，十二日臺中市長胡志強出席在新加坡舉辦的臺中「食」在安心暨臺中城市百科金氏紀錄立體繪本書展活動記者會，他向新加坡及東南亞民眾宣布，臺中糕餅已獲新加坡國家發展部農糧及獸醫局與臺灣食在安心HACCP雙重認證，臺中糕餅品質有保證。

　藉由活動也邀請新加坡的好朋友到臺中旅遊，到臺中著名的寶泉、裕珍馨、林金生香、阿聰師、小林煎餅、瑞典國寶等糕餅名店的DIY觀光工廠，親自體驗臺中特有的糕餅文化。

　　新加坡城市發展（中國）有限公司總裁郭益智先生則表示，臺中人最有人情味，該集團在臺中投資的飯店在今年三月開幕，已有很好的成績，而臺中的糕餅也特別好吃，每次去臺中，總是兩手拎著滿滿的太陽餅回來。

　　市府經濟發展局長王誕生也指出，臺中糕餅已獲新加坡及臺灣食品安全檢驗的雙重認證。業者嚴格把關原料來源並索取核可證明文件送交臺中市政府衛生局審查，審核通過的業者都可獲取「食在安心」標章。

　　活動裡也展示今年4月19日甫獲金氏世界紀錄認證的臺中立體城市百科全書，原創內容厚達296頁，攤開來長達106公尺，是美國大英百科全書首次跨國與臺中市政府合作規劃，生動活潑的展現大臺中的城鄉風貌與文化內涵。（圖／台中市政府經濟發展局提供）
