【楊勝裕／新竹報導】新竹縣義民文化祭今開始，全國各地的35間義民爺分廟返回新埔義民廟謁香，陣頭電音三太子在廟前大跳電音舞、日式迎轎班如同日本慶典在轉動，吸引眾人目光，還有分廟用瓶蓋組成一條龍，由信眾舞龍慶祝義民文化祭，也有信眾揹著裝有南投國姓特產鹿茸的飯擔進香。

新竹縣文化局表示，義民祭是客庄12大節慶，每年的農曆7月20日最為盛大，包括起燈篙、放水燈、神豬比賽，都是展現客家義民精神的特色祭典。

縣府表示，義民祭也橫跨新竹縣、桃園15個庄輪值，今年新竹縣政府藉由嘉年華式活動，讓更多人參與，透過傳承與創新元素注入，讓義民爺忠義精神永續長存，也讓更多人感受客家淳樸、熱情好客性格，也歡迎民眾到新竹體驗最道地的客家義民祭。

【綜合報導】日本近日出現了一批「撐傘男」，因忍受不住酷熱天氣，顧不得情面，撐傘擋一擋熱烈的陽光。不少男生擔心别人目光，但原來女生受訪時都表示不介意。

日本2009年已推出男士太陽傘系列。除了一貫的深藍色和黑色，今年還推出了格仔花紋等，吸引不少男士選購。有商店表示今年的銷售額是去年的134%，主要是40歲的男性購買。一名撐傘已經兩年的62歲伯伯表示，剛開始都會怕別人閒，但現在已成習慣。

日本政府環境省都勸告男士們撐傘抗炎熱，能減輕2成中暑不適。
