| 美國務院：對參拜「失望」 是給日本信號

美國國務院再次就日本首相安倍晉三參拜靖國神社一事發表談話，指出美國政府選擇「失望」這一詞語來形容，是要給日本政府一個明確的信號。
美國國務院副發言人哈弗在記者會中說，從他們選擇使用的詞語中可以看出，美國給予日本政府的信號是很明確的。哈弗還希望日本與周邊鄰國就過去敏感的問題作出認真應對，採用建設性的方法改善與中韓兩國的關係。
在本月26日安倍參拜靖國神社三個小時後，美國駐日本大使館發表了一份聲明表示：對於安倍參拜靖國神社進一步激化日本與周邊鄰國的緊張關係，美國政府表示失望。這是過去以來美國政府就日本首相參拜靖國神社一事發表過的最嚴厲批判。
過去小泉純一郎首相曾多次參拜靖國神社，美國政府並沒有發表任何政府意見，對此哈弗認為，情況總是在發生變化。
哈弗還指出，今後將會繼續關注這一問題，與日本政府進行協議。

| MLB／狼又來了？痛痛人Pavano再喊復出

病歷表洋洋灑灑的「痛痛人」Carl Pavano，之前喊過N次復出，卻都雷聲大雨點小，現在，第N+1次「狼來了」！
根據MLB Daily Dish的Chris Cotillo，「痛痛人」正在強化體能、積極練投，如果有球隊找上門，可以投給他們看。
即將在1月8日過38歲生日的Pavano，上次在大聯盟投球，是2012年的事，那個球季先發11場，戰績2勝5敗，防禦率6.00，功力已不如前。
去年此時，Pavano也曾努力找尋新東家，但後來卻發生剷雪意外，脾臟破裂，差點送命，這一年只能休息。縱使Pavano不向命運低頭，但這恐怕會是最後機會。
