| 聲援大埔民眾突襲 主辦單位：已完成包圍內政部

「818拆政府行動」晚會，現場群眾高唱完《你敢有聽著我的歌》和安可曲《美麗島》後，現場情緒沸騰。台灣農村陣線發起要現場民眾一起步行到行政院，抗議民眾到達內政部的北市徐州路中央聯合辦公大樓前，民眾突襲跨過圍牆，有上百人靜坐在內政部大樓前抗議。
台灣農村陣線18日晚在凱達格蘭大道舉辦「818拆政府行動－把國家還給人民」晚會，晚會結束後，主辦單位發起步行行政院運動，行經內政部，約有近2千名民眾跨過圍牆，把大樓團團圍住，大批警力則進駐阻止民眾進入辦公大樓內，也有許多抗議民眾把「今天拆大埔、明天拆政府」貼紙貼在大樓門外。
台灣農村陣線要求民眾要守秩序，但民眾翻牆進入內政部和立法院，揚言要癱瘓內政部，要內政部周一無法上班，民眾除了喊口號與警方對峙，還在內政部大樓柱子噴漆抗議。
18日晚間10時31分，主辦單位宣布已完成包圍內政部。
