穿上鋼鐵人這身盔甲就可以飛天遁地，電影一推出，讓不少影迷也想嘗試飛在半空中的滋味，現在真實世界裡也做得到。教學影片：「首先你要做的就是先踏上這個板子，左腳先踏上來。」

這片裝了鞋子的板子就是飛板，套上它，拉緊鞋帶，穿好救生衣及安全帽，再把幫助空中平衡的手柄綁在左、右手上，就可以準備下水了。

教學影片：「你要先站好，然後雙腳直立的跳進水中。」

當飛板動力啟動後，玩家伸直雙腳、腰桿挺直，不到一分鐘就能衝出水面，變成水上鋼鐵人。

這套裝置是用一條軟管先接到水上摩托車抽取海水，再用鞋子上的噴水器產生高壓水柱，利用噴射水動力，把玩家推高到半空飛行。

飛板不只能直立上下移動，技術高超的玩家還能做出如海豚般在海面上飛躍的動作。

業者說，飛板裝置雖看來笨重，但落水時並不會拉著玩家往海裡沈，初學者只要確實穿好救生衣，落水時放輕鬆，就會浮在海面上。
