印尼央行稍早緊急調升基準利率兩碼至7％，以挽救疲弱的貨幣走勢，統計八月以來，印尼盾貶值近9％。

摩根東協基金經理人黃寶麗指出，印尼上周祭出多項振興經濟及穩定匯率措施，但效果相當有限，加上通膨壓力蠢蠢欲動，迫使印尼央行得採取升息，以防止熱錢持續流失壓抑股匯雙市，但緊縮的貨幣措施將可能衝擊經濟動能趨緩。

聯合國（ＵＮ）秘書長潘基文說，他28日已與總統歐巴馬討論如何加快ＵＮ調查小組在敘利亞首都大馬士革調查毒氣攻擊的進度，並稱該小組將持續調查至30日，計畫31日早上離開敘國。

美聯社攝影記者目擊，ＵＮ真相小組29日上午分乘六輛車離開下榻的旅館。反抗軍表示，不清楚調查小組的目的地是何處。（綜合外電）
