為了讓孩子可以領先別人一步，不少爸媽會把學齡前的幼童送到美語班或是學珠算珠心算、作文等，但未來這都將被禁止！引發補教業者跟家長反彈。

行政院會在29日通過「補習及進修教育法」修正草案，將函請立法院審議。行政院長江宜樺說，有關條文明列招收未滿六歲幼兒，應以辦理有助於幼兒身體律動、藝術才能學習為範圍，應儘量在條文中明定以活動與實做方式進行，且須由各直轄市及縣市主管機關核准，希望透過草案條文的文字修正，將部分團體認有負面影響的疑慮降至最低，以符合社會需要。

教育部表示，鑑於社會環境變遷、進修教育回歸各級學校相關法令規範及健全對補習教育的管理與輔導，故擬具「補習及進修教育法」修正草案。

該草案修正條文規範補習班如招收未滿六歲幼兒，應以辦理有助於幼兒身體律動、藝術才能學習為範圍。違者最高可罰五十萬元、且可連續罰。

但消息一出引發議論，補教業者嗆聲，政府這樣是要逼他們上街，另外，有家長說，現在很多書籍或是互動遊戲上，都會出現英文，要是沒辦法看懂一些基本單字，根本無法玩下去。

法案還沒正式通過，就已引發反彈，教育部終身教育司司長熊宗樺受訪時說，只要業者設計出結合律動、讓幼兒以遊戲、唱跳方式，課程內容要融入美語或珠心算都沒有問題，但不能以書寫、背誦方式強迫學習。
